Lepi Decki - WAITAPU

Let’s start off with the question you must all be asking yourselves! What is the meaning behind WAITAPU?

To put it shortly, the name is based on a book written by a Croatian author whose main inspiration is to deliver the message of breaking taboos and cutting restrictions. This perfectly portrays the enhancement of development in the Craft Beer Industry and the way people are changing there mindset about it.

Waitapu is marked as a Blond Ale with ABV (alcohol level) of 4,1% which suits this light-bodied beer. It pours Golden color with a small to medium white head. The aroma can be described as primarily malty with light touches of fruity notes. Funnily enough, while drinking this beer I get both a sweet and sour taste. With the sweetness coming from the taste of melons and sourness coming from hints of lemon! The lemonish taste takes over giving Waitapu a bitterish sour finish and it would go well with any kind of spicy food!
