Not the biggest fan of black IPA's. Or I at least haven't tried a particularly good one yet. "Crni Jack", however, is a black IPA with a malty character which I actually like.
It pours a dark brown color with a huge creamy beige head. The ABV (alcohol level) is 6,5% which you can feel while drinking, but it fits good with the taste. It has an earthy aroma with a touch of roasted malts. Taste of this medium-bodied beer is balanced between roasted malts on the first touch and a long bitter fruity like finish.
It's difficult to figure out the connection between the aroma and its taste as the aroma misleads the actual taste! Overall it's a more than decent beer especially on a chilly winter night and paired with spicy BBQ meat or can even go well with a good cheese!
